Beyond Words

We are beyond words
As if we had never lived
Without each other
Held captive
By passion so desperate
The sky and wind and air
Painted its portrait
In every stolen breath
Every stolen kiss
He is tenderness to my wildness
In this volcano we call bliss
One look could start a fire
Soul to soul
The beat of my heart I gave
To the man it craves
The world became more
Time was a bad memory
That seemed to desist
Just because he exists
It is delicious torment
This rapture
That our minds can’t conceive
To explain nor capture
